ROME ART WEEK - ANTONIA LANGE - „19“ My collection for the Rome Art Week 2022 is called "19", representative of my age during the exhibition. “19” includes five different artworks, each work reflecting on an event that took place in 2022: I focus mainly on creating abstracted, figurative paintings with a variety of media. I use this free style to understand and work through my emotional inner life. For example, "19" thematizes addiction and loss. I actually almost never pre-plan my works, which often results in mixed media paintings. Acrylic paint, collage, watercolor, chalk, etc. Everything that is there will be used! I call my art style "new maximalism" - Many different motives, a lot of emotion and a lot of color. An almost overloaded image is created - representative of the intense emotions behind the work. ROME ART WEEK - ANTONIA LANGE - „19“ Meine Kollektion für die Rome Art Week 2022 heißt „19“, repräsentativ für mein Alter während der Ausstellung. Die Bildreihe setzt sich aus fünf Werken zusammen, die alle in einer Form Geschehnisse aus 2022 verarbeiten. Ich konzentriere ich mich vor allem auf abstrahierte figurative Malerei mit verschiedensten Medien. Ich nutze diesen freien Stil, um mein emotionales Innenleben zu verstehen und zu verarbeiten. Zum Beispiel thematisiert „19“ zum großen Teil Sucht und Verlust. Ich plane meine Werke eigentlich so gut wie nie vor, wodurch sie oft in einer Mischtechnik aus Acrylfarbe, Collage, Aquarell, Kreide usw. entstehen. Alles was da ist wird benutzt! Ich nenne meinen Kunststil „neuer Maximalismus“. Viele verschiedene Motive; viel Emotion und viel Farbe, sodass ein schon fast überladenes Bild entsteht – repräsentativ für die intensiven Gefühlsregungen hinter dem Werk.
